My painting series "The Lost City" a journey through the sea of emotions
At the opening of the exhibition, a visitor asked me which city I was painting about.
I was very surprised, because we know a lot about lost cities.
Some have been buried by time, others by the earth or the sea, or all of these.
We can think of Troy, Angkor, Tikal, Petra, and I could go on.
When I started this series, I didn't think of any of these cities.
In general, all of these cities are possible.
